A Glitchy Nightmare & A "Solution" That Punishes the Customer 😡
I'm writing this as a warning about my terrible online shopping experience. I found this company to be dishonest and unwilling to honor their own promotions. They make it impossible to collect an offer when their site is full of glitches, and there's no 24-hour customer service or live agent to help. It was completely unprofessional. I will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. Their only "solution" to their mistake was for me to return my perfectly good glasses—correct style and prescription—and then reorder to get the BOGO offer they messed up. The sheer absurdity of this "fix" is why I had to contact them and ultimately leave this review.
Customer: Your website glitched and didn't apply the BOGO promo. Your team admitted it was your error, so why am I being told to return my glasses and reorder? They're perfectly fine.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration. Our policy for a promotion not applied at checkout is to have the original order returned so a new order can be placed correctly with the promotion.
Customer: That's a terrible policy. You're making me wait weeks for your mistake. The simple solution is to just credit the difference back to my card. Why can't you do that?
CS Rep: I do apologize for the inconvenience, but our system does not allow for partial refunds for promotional errors after an order has been processed. The return and reorder process is the only way we can ensure you receive the BOGO discount.
Customer: Unbelievable. You admit fault but your "solution" punishes the customer. I'm not doing it.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
